Gionee Elife S5 5/L | MiUiPro V6 Custom ROM | Android 5.1.X

This is a MiUiPRO V6 custom ROM for Gionee Elife S5.5/L. This ROM has been tested by few other people and confirmed bugless though, some people report glitches in the display and SMS but those can be overridden by installing the respective apps from the Play Store.

Installing MiUiPRO On Gionee Elife S5.5/L

Prior to Installation, please note:
  • Backup your complete ROM before installing this so that you may restore your ROM if you have any reason to do so. See: How to Backup your ROM here
  • Flashing this ROM wrongly may render your phone useless.

  • The VoIP Video Call features of the Mi Note Pro, Mi3 / 4w has been added
  • The import and delete contacts from SIM-card feature has been fixed
  • Message delivery status has improved
  • The ability to control the music from the Lock screen is now added
  • Opening Notification from the lockscreen has been improved
  • Weather backgroud issues fixed
  • Input string of the URL and Search Queries in the browser now fixed

How To Install MiUiPRO V6 On your Gionee Elife S5.5/L

1. Download MiUiPRO Custom ROM for your Gionee Elife S5.5/L from here.
2. Copy or move the downloaded ROM to your SD Card
3. Reboot the phone to recovery. NOTE: It has to be custom recovery.

4. Factory Reset the phone from recovery, wipe cache, delvic and then, flash the ROM.
5. Wait few minutes until the flashing operation is complete and then, reboot the phone.
