How to Boot Samsung S7 and S7 Edge to Recovery Mode

Booting Samsung android devices to recovery mode, stock or custom recovery has always been the same and so is Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Well, except for the few Samsung android devices that are probably forgotten.
Although, Samsung Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge are the latest Samsung android devices as of now, despite the the firmware changes and little differences in the performance. Ok. Lots of differences in the performance, few things still remain the same and one of them is the recovery key combo.

Just so you may know, Recovery is a separate partition on android device where maintenance operations are being carried out. Android Recovery is also known as the Maintenance Partition.

How to Boot Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to Recovery

Either that it is Custom Recovery or Stock Recovery, the method for booting Samsung android devices into recovery is the same especially; for the Samsung Galaxy android devices.

1. Turn your Samsung Galaxy S7 off. You can do so by pressing and holding down the power button, and then tapping on Power Off.

2. Now, carefully press the Volume Up + Home + Power buttons at the same time. Do this until the S7 or S7 Edge displays the boot animation. You can now release the keys and wait.

3. In just a few seconds, the phone should go into recovery mode.
Depending on the type of recovery you have on your S7 or S7 Edge (Custom or Stock), you can perform a number of operations which include wipe data (perform a factory reset), apply OTA updates, perform a NAND Backup and more.
